Ellen Purcell built PURLs for all the OPACs, Course Reserve and WebLUIS
Databases so that you can use a shorter URL in your links and in email
messages to users instead of the long URLs used internally by the
WebLUIS system. Some of them are so long that they always wrap thus
causing confusion if they don't work when clicked on.
For the OPACs, she did separate URLs for each search screen. For the
databases, she only did the basic search screen. She tried to make the
PURLS mnemonic though so you'd recognize them right off.
