I would certainly be interested in such a session. In particular, it
would be useful if we could solicit the participation of A) someone with
some legal expertise who could provide some additional insight into the
various possible interpretations of the new Federal guidelines, and B)
someone who has some actual data regarding current interpretations of
these policies vis a vis network analysis by IRBs (even an informal
survey would be better than anecdotes). I'm not sure who in the
community would be best suited to fill either role, but the presence of
this expertise could make this a very useful discussion....
That's my two bits on the proposal, anyway....
