RE:     2003-2004 Thomas O. Enders Fellowship

The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS) is pleased
to announce open competition for the 2003-2004 Thomas O. Enders Fellowship.

The Thomas O. Enders Fellowship, established as a separate, permanently
restricted endowment of ACSUS, encourages advanced scholarship on Canada and
Canadian-US relations with the goal of increasing mutual understanding
between the United States and Canada on diverse bilateral issues. The
Endowment funds the Thomas O. Enders Fellowship, an annual award of up to
US$30,000 for a period up to 9 months to support research on some aspect of
Canadian studies or Canada-US relations.

The University of Calgary will host the Thomas O. Enders Fellow for the
2003-2004 academic year.  Recipients of the fellowship must be US citizens
or permanent residents of the United States.
