Wilkens) to be honored by the Hall of Fame as player and coach.

6. GATOR CAREER REPORT FOR GRADUATING SENIORS: Stop by the Career
Resource Center and complete a Gator Career Report. Want to know the
starting salary for your major? Interested in what kinds of jobs or
internships students in your major are getting? So do we! Please stop by
the Career Resource Center to complete the Gator Career Report. All
information will be kept confidential and will be used to generate
statistics about salary information and job trends for other students to
see. Ask for your free gift when you fill out the survey. Stop by today or
visit http://www.crc.ufl.edu for more information.

7. RHODES, MARSHALL, MITCHELL SCHOLARSHIPS: The University of Florida is
seeking applicants for the Rhodes, Marshall, and Mitchell Scholarships for
2003-2004. These scholarships are designed for the exceptional student
who wishes to undertake one to two years of study at the University of
Oxford (Rhodes) or other universities in the United Kingdom (Marshall) or
Ireland (Mitchell). Students who would be seniors in 2002-2003 should
begin preparing their competitive applications for a Monday, September 16,
2002 deadline to be selected for a nomination from the University
Selections Committee. Students should have at least a 3.7 GPA and strong
motivation and evidence of the potential to make a serious contribution to
society. Work on these applications should begin immediately. See
http://www.honors.ufl.edu/scholarships/prestigious.html for more
information or e-mail [log in to unmask]

8. FULBRIGHT AWARDS: Graduating seniors from any majors in 2002-2003
have the opportunity to win a Fulbright award to any of 140 different
countries. Applicants for a Fulbright award must be U.S. citizens, have
an outstanding GPA, and be interested in international scholarship. The
awards fund research and study for up to a year in a different country.
Students are strongly encouraged to begin work on the applications after
May 1, and more information can be found on the Fulbright web site at
http://www.iie.org/fulbright/us/. The deadline will be Friday, October 4,
2002 to 140 Tigert Hall; see
http://www.honors.ufl.edu/scholarships/howtoapply.doc for more
information.

9. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SEEKS DONATIONS: Instead of giving your
furniture away or leaving it at your apartment or residence hall, why not
donate it to a good cause? The Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store has a
free pick up service for furniture and other large items. The money
generated from furniture sales is used to build more houses for those who
need them. The store hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 4 pm, and
Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. They are located at 2317 SW 13th St. in
Gainesville, call 373-5728. If you would like to schedule a pick up, call
Ruth at 378-4663 (allow 2-3 business days to schedule). Thank you for
thinking of Alachua County Habitat. P.S. We also take volunteers!!!!

10. AFROTC: Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at the
University of Florida focuses on academics, physical fitness, discipline
and leadership, and culminates in a commission as a second lieutenant in
the world's most powerful Air Force. Benefits include scholarship and
incentive programs, a guaranteed job upon graduation with a starting pay
of approximately $32,000, world-wide travel opportunities, social
activities, clubs and sports. To find out more about the Air Force and
ROTC at UF, visit us on the 3rd floor of Van Fleet Hall located on Stadium
Drive (South side of the O'Connell Center). Call 392-1355 or visit our
website at http://www.afrotc.ufl.edu for more inforatmion.

11. GATOR CONNECTION SEEKS INPUT: We REALLY need your help! Planning is
already underway for 2002 Gator Connection, a rockin' pep rally where
students can get connected to their school, fellow students, friends and
learn (or re-learn!) some of UF's traditions, like cheers you need to know
at all the athletic events, the Alma Mater, and of course, "We Are the
Boys"! Gator Connection is the first Friday of the fall semester, just
before Gator Nights on the North Lawn outside the Union. There have been a
few preliminary meetings, but we need student input. Visit
http://www.union.ufl.edu to review the specific questions and how to
submit your ideas.

12. COMEDY SHOW: On Wednesday, April 24, "Laughing Out Loud" Comedy Show
featuring Tony Roberts, B* Cole, and Ronnie Long in Reitz Union
Auditorium, 9 pm, Free. Sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs; for
