CLEP tests? Go to http://www.at.ufl.edu/~clep/ to sign up for CLEP exams on
campus. Your CLEP exams must be completed by the end of Summer B. You will
need to take the form your advisor signed at Preview to the testing center
when you take the test. If you have misplaced the form, go to the Academic
Advising Center, your college's advising office, or the Honors Program in
140 Tigert Hall for a replacement. Remember that CLEP tests must be
completed by the end of Summer B or YOU MAY JEOPARDIZE YOUR BF SCHOLARSHIP.
It is also important to check AP and IB scores as you receive them to make
sure they fulfill the requirement. For more information, see
http://www.advising.ufl.edu/clep.

2. SUMMER B CRITICAL DATES.
LAST DAY TO DROP A COURSE OR WITHDRAW FROM ALL COURSES is Friday, August
2,2002.

Alumni Association is pleased to present you with a gift of a FREE

benefits this provides go to

4. AUGUST GRADS: CLASS GIFT. The Senior Class Gift is a way for students
to leave a mark for future generations of Gators. As a member of the Class
of 2002, you have a unique opportunity to make a gift that will go towards
a "Legacy of Excellence." The legacy will help support leadership
opportunities for students, outstanding student programs, enhanced campus
facilities and help to create a better quality of student life on the UF
campus. In recognition of your support, your name will be placed on a
standing glass plaque, which will be prominently displayed in the Reitz
Union. A fellow UF student will shortly call to ask for your
participation. For additional information, contact [log in to unmask]

5. FINANCIAL AID: WITHDRAWAL POLICY. Do you know UF's Policy on
Withdrawal from UF When Receiving Financial Aid? If you are receiving
financial aid and officially withdraw, or stop attending all courses for a
term, you may have to repay all or part of the financial aid disbursed to
you in that term. Students receiving financial aid through the Office for
Student Financial Affairs (SFA) who withdraw from UF must follow UF's
official withdrawal policy and procedures provided at
http://www.ufsa.ufl.edu/sfa/receiving/withdrawalrefund.html. SFA is
required to obtain proof of attendance for all students who receive
federal aid and have only grades of E, I, N or U at the end of a semester,
which indicates that a student may have unofficially withdrawn. Such
students must provide attendance verification or repay all or part of the
financial aid they received in that term. The Dean of Students Office in
P-202 Peabody Hall coordinates official withdrawal from UF.

6. NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION GRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM.
Seniors with an aptitude for research in the sciences, math and
engineering are encouraged to consider graduate school. NSF provides
three-year graduate research fellowships for very accomplished students.
Information is available on their web site at
http://www.orau.org/nsf/nsffel.htm Applications are due Nov. 7, 2002. Last
year 900 awards were made by NSF-1 in 7 applicants were offered this
prestigious scholarship.
