intensive community service experience outside of the local community in
an effort to heighten social awareness, advocate life-long social action,
and build friendships in an alcohol and drug-free environment. This year,
we are celebrating our 10-year anniversary as an organization at UF. FAB
takes participants on spring break trips to various cities in the
southeast to work directly with social issues that are important not only
in the host city but also in Gainesville. Spring Break 2003 issues are:
AIDS/HIV, elderly, urban poverty, rural poverty, low-income housing,
equity in education and urban development. We invite you to become part
of this tradition and join us on a FAB 2003 spring break trip. Visit our
web site at: http://www.union.ufl.edu/fab or e-mail [log in to unmask]
