As we all may find ourselves facing some database cancellations at our
individual institutions (due to budget cuts), I thought it might be good for
us to discuss possible strategies for insuring that DBL records are
maintained effectively.

offer any comments or questions about the situations I've outlined. I
thought I would add a link to this document on our page at

changes).
You will definitely want to make sure that you are kept aware of any
decisions being made at your institutions about database access. Decisions
are probably handled somewhat differently at each institution, but your ECC
representative (see http://www.fcla.edu/FCLAinfo/ecc/eccmem.html) may be a
good person to be sure you are communicating with regularly.
