don't name generators tend to be relational: friend, kin, etc.?
at least, when we do ego-net research, we do it that way.
btw, nostalgia buffs may be interested in knowing we've just put in a
proposal for the THIRD EAST YORK study -- this time, in the time of the
Internet. We'll know next April.
