This year the Graduate Student Council is pleased to offer four $300
research grants.  Research grants will be awarded by a committee of graduate
student, faculty, and administration members on the basis of scholarly
merit, innovation, and financial need.  Grant proposals which include
undergraduate assistants in their research plan are encouraged and may be
given special consideration.  Research grants can be used for purchases of
equipment, reference materials, or travel to research sites not otherwise
covered by the GSC travel grant.  Applications are due on Monday, December
1st at 5PM.  Awards will be made by February 1st, 2004.  Please address all
questions to GSC President, Doug Ratay ([log in to unmask]) or GSC
