RE: The Office of Graduate Minority Programs Summer B and
Fall 2003 Graduate Supplemental Retention Award
The office of Graduate Minority Programs is announcing the Summer B and Fall
Graduate Supplemental Retention Award Program. In an effort to reach
students who may not be on campus during the summer months we are combining
the Summer B and Fall application process. A brief narrative of the program
follows. If you have questions concerning the Supplemental Retention Award
Program please feel free to contact the Office of Graduate Minority Programs
at 392-6444.
The OGMP Supplemental Retention Program (SRP) is designed for students who
have completed at least one year of graduate studies at UF, and are no
longer eligible to receive a fellowship, assistantship, or other
College/Departmental funding. Students must be a U.S. citizen or a
permanent resident alien. The OGMP-SRP is designed to assist students with
the completion of their degree program by providing limited tuition
assistance and by involving them in a structured retention program organized
by the office of Graduate Minority Programs. Information and Applications
are available in the Office of Graduate Minority Programs room 115 Grinter
Hall.
