RE: NEW procedures for readmission
Students who have been admitted to a graduate program and attended the
University but who are not enrolled for two or more consecutive terms
(including any summer term) must reapply for admission whether to the same
or different program. A change in procedure is going to extend the time that
it takes to process a readmission application. If you need to reapply at
some point, it's important to start the process as early as possible.
Effective July 1, 2003, the readmission procedure was changed to include a
$30.00 processing fee. Due to this change the Office of Admissions
(University Registrar) has updated their application and processing method.
A copy of the new readmission application is now available on line at
http://www.reg.ufl.edu/pdf/grad-readmission-app.pdf.
The new application includes a referral page that Admissions will forward to
the department once the bank has deposited the fee. Students will send the
entire application to PO Box 2946 and Admissions will separate and mail the
referral page when it is received from the bank. The referral page requires
departmental signature and, in cases of readmission into a new program, the
appropriate college signature. Admissions will update their records to
reflect the readmission when they receive the signed referral back from the
department.

Log on to myUFL at http://my.ufl.edu with your GatorLink username and
password.
You will see the 'Student News' pagelet in the top center of the page.
Click on the 'edit' button in the top right hand corner of the Student News
pagelet.
Check the box next to 'Graduate Students' and hit the 'Save' button.
Verify that the pagelet is now on the page you want it to appear.
The 'Graduate Students' section will now appear on the Student News pagelet
every time you log on.
