IF YOU ARE GRADUATING IN FALL 2003
1. The late degree application deadline for Fall 2003 term is WEDNESDAY,
OCTOBER 15 at 5:00 p.m. if approved by your department and college. Submit
to the Graduate School Records Office in 106 Grinter Hall. The form is
online at http://www.reg.ufl.edu/pdf/latedeginfo.pdf There is no fee.
NOTE: Late degree applications will not be accepted by the Graduate School
after this date. Students who miss this deadline may "clear prior" for
Spring 2004. (See definition of "clear prior" in the Graduate Catalog at
http://gradschool.rgp.ufl.edu/gradcat/2003-2004/generalinfo.html)
2. All changes to the Supervisory Committee including a change from thesis
to nonthesis, and requests for Transfer of Credit must be completed by
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15.
3. Resolution of problem grades (Incompletes or NG) must be completed by
MONDAY, DECEMBER 8. Contact your department about any outstanding issues.
4. Students are required to have a 3.0 GPA overall AND 3.0 GPA in the major
(and minor, if applicable) to graduate.

*Last day to submit changes to supervisory committee chair/members and to
change from thesis to nonthesis.
* Last day to submit a late degree application to the Graduate School
Student Records Office, 106 Grinter.
October 20, Monday, 5:00 p.m.
Last day for candidates for doctoral degrees to file dissertations, fee
receipts for library hardbinding and microfilming, and all doctoral forms
with the Graduate School Editorial Office, via 106 Grinter Hall.
November 10, Monday, 5:00 p.m.
Last day to submit signed master's theses, Final Examination Reports, and
binding fee receipts to Graduate School Editorial Office, via 106 Grinter
Hall. (First submission)
December 8, Monday, 9:00 a.m.
Deadline to resolve all "I" and "NG" grades and other outstanding problems
in order to be certified for the degree.
December 8, Monday, 5:00 p.m.
Last day to submit electronic thesis or dissertation to Graduate School
Editorial Office, via 106 Grinter, for review and links and corrections.
All master's thesis students also must submit 4 copies of the unpaged
academic abstract.
December 15, Monday, 5:00 p.m.
* Last day to submit signed original bond dissertations, abstracts, and
Final Examination Reports to Editorial Office, via 106 Grinter.
*Last day to submit signed original bond theses and abstracts to Editorial
Office, via 106 Grinter.
* Last day to submit Final Examination Reports for nonthesis degrees to 106
Grinter Hall.

messages will be posted to this website exclusively. You can subscribe to

Log on to myUFL at http://my.ufl.edu with your GatorLink username and
password.
You will see the 'Student News' pagelet in the top center of the page.
Click on the 'edit' button in the top right hand corner of the Student News
pagelet.
Check the box next to 'Graduate Students' and hit the 'Save' button.
Verify that the pagelet is now on the page you want it to appear.
The 'Graduate Students' section will now appear on the Student News pagelet
every time you log on.
