1. ENGINEERING LEADERSHIP FORUM: Engineering Leadership Forum (ELF) is this
Feb 15th from 9:15a to 1p at the Reitz Union Ballroom.

Come join us for interactive workshops, motivational speakers, and
networking opportunities. Price is $5 and includes lunch.

2. ENTREPRENEURS CLUB: This week we are happy to have Erik Sander lecture on
"How to build a winning business team in the eyes of a venture capitalist."
Erik Sander used to be a serial entrepreneur. He currently owns his own
business and is the Director of Industry Programs here at UF. With his
background as a venture capitalist, he will surely be able to give us some
insight in entrepreneurship. We are so lucky to have such influential
speakers come and share their knowledge with us. So come join us this

5. CHI ALPHA CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP: Come celebrate God's love with Chi Alpha
Christian Fellowship this Friday at 7:15 p.m. in the Reitz Union Basement,
room B60.  In light of Valentine's Day, this week's message will focus on
what the Bible says about God's amazing love for mankind expressed through
His Son Jesus Christ.  The message will also address Biblical human love

6. REITZ SCHOLAR APPLICATIONS: Applications are now available for the J.
Wayne Reitz Undergraduate Scholars Program. The program was established to
recognize and encourage academic achievement, leadership, and service among
undergraduate students at the University of Florida. Students selected as
Reitz Scholars receive an annual scholarship in the amount of $2500. More
information can be found at and in 155 Tigert
Hall, the Reitz Union, and in 202 Peabody Hall.  Deadline is NOON March 28.

(This a very competitive program that honors students have always done well
in. Also our national scholarship winners have often been Reitz Scholars.

7. OVERSEAS STUDIES SCHOLARSHIPS: Overseas Studies has a large number of
Study Abroad Scholarships for Summer and several for the Academic Year.
Applications are due March 1 for summer and April 1 for the academic year.

Honors will be giving away at least 6 awards of $ 1000.00 each for summer
study. (Merit Scholars are not eligible because they have access to a
stipend for study abroad.) Honors also has the Keith Legg Award of $ 2000.
