I haven't seen any conversation around Friendster here, so i thought i'd
bring it up in case folks haven't seen it as it has exploded in blogs in
the last week (it's been around for only a few months).
Friendster is basically a crossbreed of sixdegrees and match.com. You
sign up, invite your friends to sign up and then get to meet people that
are connected to you. In short, folks build their own social networks
explicitly and a variety of interesting social behaviors emerge. Many
people that i've spoken to about it are primarily fascinated by the
networks portion (as opposed to the dating portion), curious to know how
they are linked to various people.
Anyhow, check it out since it's a pretty fascinating web meme focused on
- - - - - - - - - d a n a h ( d o t ) o r g - - - - - - - - -
and they say that the truth will set you free
but then again, so will a lie
it depends if you're trying to get to the promised land
or if you're just trying to get by
