Thanks for all the good feedback I got. A couple of you
asked me to make the data available, which I'll do
happily, but I can't serve large files like that from
my server. Can we work out who can serve these files
on this list, rather than by sending email to me personally?
The links file alone each month is about 80 MB, and all
the files, with info on which files are films, etc., with
authors, titles, and artists adds another 60 MB or so.
I store all my raw data in plain text, so database formats
aren't an issue. I do a lot of analysis with vanilla
Unix tools like sed and awk, with Perl for heavier
lifting.
