Job Title: Technical Staff (Records Specialist - Nuclear Operations)
Records and Document Management
Monthly Salary Range - 3,800 to 4,800
Assigned Organization: Nuclear Operations Department
Work Location: Area 23 - Mercury - Base Camp


Implements the company records management program for the SSPO/Nuclear
Management Department including the management and control of electronic and
hardcopy records, archiving of records, identification and maintenance of
vital records and disaster recovery planning. Ensures compliance with
NNSA/NV, DOE, Federal and State laws governing records through the
development and implementation of Nuclear Operations procedures. Responsible
for maintenance and control of Nuclear Operations plans, procedures,
permits, and other safety basis documentation. Schedules and conducts
periodic assessments of documents to ensure proper control. Provides work
direction to other administrative and clerical

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in field related to the position or equivalent and a
minimum of 4 years experience in the field of records and document
management. Extensive knowledge of DOE and federal records management
requirements. Ability to perform under minimum supervision and interface
effectively with customers at all levels. Extensive knowledge of information
technology as it relates to information, electronic record and paper records
management. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments with frequent
interruptions and distractions. Excellent organizational and interpersonal
skills and demonstrated experience working effectively as a team player.
Knowledge of the NTS operations and supervisory experience a plus.
Experience working in a nuclear regulated environment required. Certified
Records Manager preferred.
