I am looking to recruit an SNA expert to work in
Dublin, Ireland on a very interesting project. Perhaps

Small World Consulting is an innovative young company
based in Dublin, Ireland which is developing software
which focuses on Social Network Analysis. The company
was formed for the purpose of developing Data Mining
applications that will help companies do the following:
1. Improve their product marketing efficiency
2. Improve their customer retention strategies
3. Improve their profiling capability
We are looking for someone who thoroughly
understands Social Network Analysis and who has
experience in the development of algorithms as used by
such tools as Pajek. We will be working with very large
volumes of data, so we need to write efficient
We are working in collaboration with a university here
in Ireland and we require someone who will work on
behalf of SWC and oversee the work being done
by the university. This will entail the following
(1) Monitoring the work being done by the researchers,
(2) Advising on possible algorithms that could be used.
(3)Providing sociological insight into whatever the
University's research may uncover.
We require someone who has a thorough understanding
of the various algorithms that can be used for
social network analysis. They must be able to work on
their own and in a team.
The initial contract will be for a 6 to 12 month period
(though that could possibly be extended). The job would
require travel to a number of Irish cities and possibly
some foreign travel also.
We are willing to pay a competitive salary depending on
qualification and experience.
