MEMORANDUM

TO:
Deans, Directors, and Department Chairs

SUBJECT:
UF Classes and Administrative Offices Status


All classes, activities and administrative offices at the
University of Florida are cancelled through Tuesday, September
7th.

All Physical Plant Grounds Department employees are asked to
report to work on Tuesday, September 7th as scheduled.

University officials continue to monitor local and regional
conditions as they develop.  It is anticipated that all
classes, activities and administrative offices will resume
normal schedules on Wednesday, Sept. 8th.

On-campus dormitories and selected dining facilities will
remain open.  Two shelters on campus will remain open through
the storm.  They are the Southwest Recreation Center and the
Reitz Student Union.

The UF Home Page www.ufl.edu is the university's official
source of information.  Updates are also available by calling
846-3903.
