You've probably heard (ad nauseum) my mantra that "a computer network is a
social network." (Altho purists point out that computer networks really
Support social networks.)

It's been officially blessed  now by the Vogue magazine of the info age.

There's a paragraph quote from me about Friendster-like social network
software in _Wired_, Jan 04, p. 64. Also a para. from Howard Rheingold
(love his _Smart Mobs_) and the CEO of _Tribe_ social network software.

It's interesting that while all of 3 us like the idea of the software,
none of us do the hype that Wired is infamous for.
