Dear Socnetters,

Many thanks concerning the answers to my question on virtual community and
social network. They really helped me.

I have another question, but this time, it concerns the links (or
relations) between people in a social network. What allows us to link an
actor to an another actor ? For instance, the fact that they have already
been in touch, the fact that one of them has sent a mail to the other, the
fact that they have a similar profile, etc. ?
