Post Doc Position at the Laboratory for Enriching Services to Facilitate Access to Information (EASY) at France Telecom R&D, Brittany, France.
1 year post doc position with an option for 2 years is available at EASY for individuals with a Ph.D. interested in graph theory, complex social networks, and user point of view modelling. Part of a Knowledge Management Project, the work will consist of analyzing resources network from a particular point of vue, structure and dynamics. The resources network will be obtained from a multi-treatment platform (text mining, usage mining, interaction mining...). One task is to facilitate the emergence of communities of practice in an intranet. The PostDoc will be involved in the development of a toolkit for analyzing complex networks. Opportunities for publications will exist.
Start date: autumn 2004
Requirements: Must speak French. Would be easier if able to write in French. Must have good development skills (Java). Must have good skills in graph theory and social network analysis. Abilities in clustering welcome.
