Does anyone know of empirical data on the session length of telephone calls
after someone starts using e-mail extensively? Group or individual data
would both be of interest. Any multivariate study would be particularly
useful--especially across relatively standardized sociological measures
(income, race ident., sex, age, etc.)

I am interested in the idea that leaders spend less time on the phone when
they are avid users of e-mail. I understand, it is quite possible that the
counter is true--that they spend more time. Any thoughts appreciated.
