Job Title

Graduate Student Assistant

Location

1329 Building, Main UF Campus, Gainesville, Florida

The UF Department of Epidemiology and Health Policy, Institute for Child
Health Policy, University of Florida, seeks a graduate student assistant to
assist in a variety of tasks.  This position is part-time, requiring 20
hours per week with a mutually agreed upon work schedule.

Position Description

Primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited, to
(1) assisting with research activities; 92) obtaining, organizing,
assembling and maintaining materials and documentation related to projects;
(3) retrieving data and research literature from university libraries and
the Internet; (4) maintaining an electronic bibliographic database; (5)
scanning documents into PDF files; (6) word-processing, using Word Perfect
12 and Microsoft word.  

Pay

Anticipated compensation is $10.00 per hour.

Qualifications

Must be familiar with University of Florida libraries and computers and be
proficient using the Microsoft Office suite.  All applicants should have
clear ability to work independently, take initiative, manage time and work
with minimal supervision.
