Dear Colleagues:

The Graduate Student Council Forum will be held April 1, 2005 at
the J.W. Reitz Union. The Forum is a multidisciplinary symposium
where University of Florida graduate and professional students
share their research and creative works with the university
community.

The Forum Committee invites graduate and professional students to
submit proposals for poster and panel sessions. To learn more and
submit proposals online, go to the GSC website at
http://grove.ufl.edu/~gsc. The deadline for proposal submissions
is Friday February 18, 2005.

The Forum Committee also invites suggestions for featured
speakers: please send your suggestions to [log in to unmask] and
briefly explain the reasons for your suggestions.

Cordially,

Alison Van Nyhuis
GSC Forum Director

...Just a reminder that the first Graduate Student Council meeting
for 2005 will be held Thursday, January 20th at 6:30 pm. The
location will again be the Animal Sciences Building, room 156.
Dean Gerhardt, SG President Jamal Sowell, representatives from
GAU, and other SG election hopefuls will be speaking. We will also
be discussing the March SG elections and looking at possible ways
to get graduate students more involved in the process. Pizza and
drinks will be provided. For more information, please visit the
new and improved GSC website at http://grove.ufl.edu/~gsc
