Yes, the UCINET spreadsheet can easily handle 913 rows and columns. BTW, in
the interest of not cluttering up SOCNET with technical support questions
for particular programs, there is a user's group for UCINET. Visit
www.analytictech.com/ucinet.htm and click on user's group. There are around
400 members and the archive currently contains about 750 messages asking and
answering UCINET, NETDRAW and Pajek questions.
But as Balazs has noted, when dealing with large networks it is usually more
efficient and convenient to use nodelist and edgelist formats (see UCINET
user's guide chapter 3). This is because most large networks are not very
dense, which means that in matrix form they are mostly zeros. The nodelist
and edgelist formats avoid having to type in all the non-relationships.
