I'm so tired of this track, that from now on I'm just deleting anything
related to it. I have no problem with discussion of any political
issue...even with opinions...but having a differing opinion is different
than name-calling and being disrespectful. I would expect members of
this listserv to know the difference.

"getting our knickers into such a twist over this"? I mean if you saw
one of his televised campaigns to push privitizing Social Security that
I viewed early one morning this week, you might agree with the opinion
of the afore mentioned writer and as his budget directly influences our
work, jobs, and lives, I'd say he's fair game for discussion and
opinion.

Personally, I am appalled that someone would have the audacity and the
disrespect to call the President of the United States an "idiot". That
lack of respect and the thoughts of disdain that fuel it are the
idicators of the shift that is harming the very fiber of our country.
I am removing my name from this listserv. I was unaware that this
group, which--or so I thought--was formed to help others, to uplift and
inspire. I am shocked at this type of correspondence. What a shame
that some would take advantage of this venue to vent political hatred!
