Dear social networkers,

I would like to draw attention to the following opportunities at the
ICS.

1. There is a possibility for a 5-year fellowship for a female
researcher, leading to a tenure track position, at ICS Groningen.
This is one of the so-called Rosalind Franklin Fellowships offered by
the University of Groningen; for a researcher in sociology, this
fellowship will be at the ICS. The target group is female researchers
with an excellent publication list, with approximately 1 to 8 years
(this is indicative, not limitative) of postdoctoral research
experience. The fellowship will, if evaluated positively, lead to a
tenure track position (ultimately full professor if all goes well).
The deadline is relatively soon: May 1.

2. As happens each year, the ICS at its three locations (Groningen,
Utrecht, Nijmegen) offers four-year positions and fellowships for PhD
study. The deadline for application is April 29. Information is at

3. The ICS has a new Research Master's program. For the program in
Groningen, the deadline for application from within the European
Union is May 1. (For the utrecht programs, the deadline has passed.)
