Dr. Rockwood,
I just spoke to Stacy Stokes at FORCE. As per our conversation, and my
earlier discussion with Bijay, Bijay and I will go to FORCE on Thursday,
October 6 early in the morning. Our objective for that day will be to check
on the water system, flag our where the lysimeters are to be installed, and
check on the equipment (tractor and spreader). Friday will remain an
option at this point.
Stacy said that she is trying to make arrangements with the DOC to have a
crew come out with augers to dig the holes but they don't normally schedule
on Thursdays or Fridays. Therefore, if necessary, I will plan to go back
down on Tuesday, the 11th of October for half a day to supervise the
installation. Final scheduling for compost spreading will depend on our
progress on the above mentioned days.
