Dear SOCNET,
My friends in the information architecture
community regularly rely on a tool called
"Survey Monkey" which lets them put together
a quick questionaire on a topic of choice
and compile results.
I'm wondering if anyone has used this tool,
or others similar to it, as a component of
a name-generator exercise. Or failing
that if there is an FAQ suitable for a new
network analyst that would guide them
through the process of survey research.
(I know this is probably the subject of
a survey methods 700-level course, but
it's a question worth pondering anyway,
and I'm not sure it can be answered in
the span of a few SOCNET exchanges.
Pointers to more complex answers welcome.)
