Tomorrow the Bioenergy and Sustainable Technology Society will be hosting
Victor Austin, Midwest Renewable Energy Corporation
(http://midwest-renewable.com/index.html), who will be talking about the
development of wind energy in the Midwest and the challenges of developing a
Florida wind industry. Mr. Austin, as principal of Austin Wind Corporation,
provides meteorological, computer modeling, site design and planning
services to MRE Projects. Mr. Austin has over 8 years of power generation
consulting experience including work on over 100 meteorological sites across
the US and internationally. Mr. Austin holds a Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and did graduate research in
Computational Atmospheric Modeling at the University of Texas. A recent
