RE: Abstract Submissions Due 17 April 2006

The 2006 South East Regional Interdisciplinary Symposium (SERIS) is a
student-initiated event, open to students involved in health-related
research and covering all health-related sciences, to be held from Friday,
19 May 2006 to Sunday, 21 May 2006 on the University of Florida campus in
Gainesville, Florida.

Over the symposium's three days, participants will discuss nine key areas
(analytical chemistry, biomedical engineering, drug delivery, gene therapy,
genomics, herbal medicine, pharmacology and pharmacokinetics), with three
students presenting their research and one invited speaker from academia,
industry or the Food and Drug Administration giving a lecture in his or her
area of expertise. There will also be a keynote address, career development
luncheon speech and roundtable discussion.

Abstracts for podium and poster presentations for this symposium are due
Monday, 17 April 2006. For more information about abstract format, symposium
