RE: Final Reminder -- Apply for Summer 2006 graduation
If you intend to graduate at the end of Summer Semester 2006, you must
comply with the following deadlines:
(1) Final Graduation Application Deadline:
The final degree application deadline for Summer Semester 2006 is 5:00 p.m.
on Thursday, JULY 6, 2006.
Graduate students with Term A and or Term C enrollments that have not
already submitted a degree application must submit the late degree
application form (http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/pdf/latedegreeapp.pdf) form.
This form requires approval by your department and college (except for
students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences). Make certain
that you allow time for obtaining this approval and submit your application
to the Graduate School by the July 6, 2006 deadline.
Graduate Students with Term B ONLY enrollments should use the standard
degree application form (http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/pdf/degreeapp.pdf).
It is your responsibility to verify that your degree program information is
correct with your department. Degree program information is available by
selecting GIMS from the Quick Links menu on MyUfl.edu.
Submit your degree application to Graduate Student Records (106 Grinter
Hall). There is no fee.
NOTE: Late degree applications will not be accepted by the UF Graduate
School after this deadline.
(2) Committee Change and Credit Transfer Deadline:
All changes to your supervisory committee (including a change from thesis to
nonthesis option) and department requests for transfer of graduate credit
(including combined degree program participants) must be completed by 5:00
p.m. on MONDAY, JULY 3, 2006.
(3) Grade Resolution Deadline:
Problem grades, such as I (Incomplete) or NG (No Grade Reported), must be
completely resolved by 5:00 p.m. on MONDAY, AUGUST 7, 2006. Contact your
department to resolve any outstanding issues; they will work with the
Graduate School on your behalf.
(4) Grade Point Average Requirements:
Students are required to have a 3.00 overall grade point average and 3.00
major (and minor, if applicable) grade point average to graduate.
