RE:	Final Reminder -- Last Day to Apply for Fall 2006 Graduation 

If you intend to graduate at the end of Fall Semester 2006, you must comply
with the following deadlines:
 
(1) Final Graduation Application Deadline: 

The final degree application deadline for Fall Semester 2006 is 5:00 p.m. on
Thursday, OCTOBER 19, 2006.  The application for graduation is available at
(http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/pdf/latedegreeapp.pdf), and requires approval
by your department and college (except for students in the College of
Agricultural and Life Sciences). 
 
It is your responsibility to verify that your degree program information is
correct with your department.  Degree program information is available by
selecting GIMS from the Quick Links menu on MyUfl.edu. 

Submit your degree application to UF Graduate School Student Records (106
Grinter Hall).  There is no fee. 

NOTE: Late degree applications will not be accepted by the UF Graduate
School after this deadline.  
 
(2) Committee Change and Credit Transfer Deadline: 

All changes to your supervisory committee (including a change from thesis to
nonthesis option) and department requests for transfer of graduate credit
(including combined degree program participants) must be completed by 5:00
p.m. on Thursday, OCTOBER 19, 2006.

(3) Grade Resolution Deadline: 

Problem grades, such as I (Incomplete) or NG (No Grade Reported), must be
completely resolved by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2006.  Contact your
department to resolve any outstanding issues; they will work with the
Graduate School on your behalf.
 
(4) Grade Point Average Requirements: 

Students are required to have a 3.00 overall grade point average and 3.00
major (and minor, if applicable) grade point average to graduate.
