RE: TEACHING AND LEARNING WITH TECHNOLOGY BROWN BAG SESSIONS
The UF College of Education and UF Office of Academic Technology are proud
to announce an upcoming series of brown bag sessions focusing on Teaching
and Learning with Technology. These events will provide an opportunity for
interested faculty, staff and graduate students to exchange experiences,
explore possibilities, raise and discuss issues related to teaching and
learning with technology in a friendly and open atmosphere.
Each session will focus on seven need-to-know ideas related to the specific
topic under discussion.
The Fall 2006 schedule is as follows:

What's a Wiki? An introduction to the educational uses of an online
collaboration tool known as a wiki.

for the College of Education.

Online Discussion Boards and the Classroom Experience.
Presented by Dr. Colleen Swain Associate Director and Graduate Coordinator
for the School of Teaching and Learning in the College of Education.

Using Social Bookmarking to Support Teaching and Learning.
Presented by Dr. Kara Dawson Associate Professor for Educational
Technology in the College of Educationšs School of Teaching and Learning.
Please join us and share your experiences as well as learn from others while
you enjoy your lunch. The cost is free. These events are located on the
south side of Dauer Hall (http://campusmap.ufl.edu/files/0111in.html) in the
Ruth McQuown Room (219) above and behind the Keene Faculty Center.
