RE:    CAREER SHOWCASE AND FALL GRADUATE STUDENT WORKSHOPS AT THE CRC


CAREER SHOWCASE

Over 400 employers are coming to campus on September 18th and 19th to
recruit University of Florida students. Many of these recruiters have
openings for graduate students in a variety of different fields and are
looking to hire you! 

The Fall 2006 Career Showcase is on Monday September 18th and Tuesday
September 19th at the O'Connell Center from 9:00am to 3:00pm each day. The
first day is for non-technical jobs and the second day is for technical job
opportunities. Please visit our Career Showcase website
(http://www.crc.ufl.edu/showcase ) for more information on the companies
attending and how to prepare for Showcase. You will need to open a Gator
CareerLink account to apply for positions and to schedule interviews with
recruiters so sign up for your own account today at
http://www.crc.ufl.edu/careerlink/  (click new user registration).

FALL 2006 MASTER'S STUDENT WORKSHOP SERIES

Pre-registration is not required for any of the workshops. All workshops are
held in the Career Resource Center (CR-160), 1st floor, Reitz Union. For

As a master's student, you may have different job search needs than an
undergraduate or a doctoral student. This workshop series consists of two
50-minute workshops over two weeks to address the specific career
development concerns of master's students.
