RE: NSF FELLOWSHIP INFORMATION MEETING: 29 SEPTEMBER 2006

An information meeting about the National Science Foundation (NSF)
fellowship program will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
26 September 2006 in Room 284 of the J. Wayne Reitz Union on the University
of Florida campus in Gainesville, Florida.

NSF fellowships offer three years of support for graduate study leading to
research-based master's degrees or doctoral degrees in science, mathematics
and engineering. Each year, a number of UF graduate students earn these
prestigious graduate research fellowships.

Applicants must be US citizens, nationals or permanent resident aliens who
are pursuing graduate degrees in science, mathematics or engineering.
Fellowships are intended for individuals in the early stages of their
graduate school education.

Depending on field of study, there are several deadlines ranging from 1
November 2006 to 13 November 2006, to apply for the NSF fellowship program.
For more information, specific deadlines and application procedures, please
