RE:     SPICE Fellowships Deadline: 1 March 2006


The SPICE (Science Partners in Inquiry-Based Collaborative Education)
Program is now accepting applications for its fellowships.  The deadline is
Wednesday, 1 March 2006.

SPICE is a project funded by the National Science Foundation to foster
inquiry-based learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics
in under-resourced middle schools in Gainesville, Florida.  Its participants
come from a wide spectrum of colleges, schools, departments and centers at
the University of Florida, teamed with the Alachua County School Board and
local schools.  The fellowship provides $30,000 in the first year.
