2. FINANCIAL AFFAIRS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
SFA reminds students it is critical to keep local and permanent mailing
addresses and phone numbers up to date in the UF Directory. Important SFA
correspondence is normally mailed to local addresses. Although most
financial aid can be transacted using Direct Deposit, some awards must be
mailed, requiring a valid local address. SFA highly recommends signing up
for Direct Deposit. Check your UF Directory profile to ensure your
addresses are correct. Go to http://my.ufl.edu, sign in with your
GatorLink ID and password, choose "My Account," then "Update My Directory
Profile." For help with address problems, contact the UF Computing Help
Desk: (352) 392-HELP. For more info, go to http://www.sfa.ufl.edu.

SFA will be open 8:15am to 5pm weekdays through January 20 except for
January 16th. Switchboard hours will be 8am to 4:45pm. Normal office
hours, 8am to 5pm, and phone hours, 9am to 4:45pm, resume January 23.
Financial aid applications and 2006-07 Gator Aid Application Guides are
available at SFA in S107 Criser Hall. Students can apply online at
http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Students should check the SFA Web site to be
sure they have completed all steps to ensure proper disbursement of spring
financial aid, including student loans: http://www.sfa.ufl.edu. Students
can check the status of their financial aid on ISIS:
http://www.isis.ufl.edu.
