> Dear all
> When we calculate the dissimilarity matrix based on Euclidean distances,
> the values of the matrix range between 0 for structural equivalent nodes
> and 1 for totally dissimilar nodes.
> Is this correct?
No. The dissimilarities used in Pajek are described in its manual
(shortly) and in the paper
Batagelj V., Ferligoj A., Doreian P.:
Direct and Indirect Methods for Structural Equivalence.
Social Networks 14(1992), 63-90.
> How can I see all the values of the matrix in Pajek?
There are different ways:
- double-click on the 'register' with dissimilarity network
- click the edit button for networks
- save dissimilarity (network) in matrix format and then
look/edit it with a text editor
- visualize it in EPS with levels of gray
