I would very much apopreciate your help and comments on the following:
I am currently analysing data on actors' degree centrality and network
centralization in several secondary school departments. I am using UCINET
VI. My simple question is: is there any way to calculate an actor's
PROPORTIONAL contribution to the centralization of his or her overall
network? In other words, how do we know how much a given centralization
index depends on a particular actor's centrality, or that of a particular
subset of actors? How do we measure the extent to which an actor's own
centrality is determining the overall centrality of the network?
Thank you in advance?
