I'm looking to run some network simulations in
conjunction with a project I'm doing- I'm trying to
exploit features of the community network to
efficiently spread health information. We're working
with stylists at a beauty college in St. Louis, and
have great access to a large number of stylists and
customers- we're going to track the dissemination of
our health information into the community. One thing
I'd like to do is model competing innovations/messages
propagating on the network, corresponding to our
efforts to dispel health myths. So:
1. Any suggestions of good references for me? I know
there may be some relevant game theory stuff out
there, but I'm not familiar with that literature yet.
2. Anyone currently running simulations who'd be
interested in collaborating? We have some promising
pilot data for the project, and I'd love to have some
solid simulations to put up against the data.
