Patrick,
I suspect that your concern is not uncommon. I'm a newcomer to SNA (I learn
it and use it, time permitting, in my consulting work), and I'm aware how
complex SNA can be. It is not easy to "master" it as well as we would like.
But, without such mastery, we may come up short in selling the methodology
and in explaining its value to students or clients. We risk looking like
amateurs.
