Yeah I saw that on another list... quite cool.
But, it is not 11 degrees of separation! Degrees are the number of
alters [people he is connected to], separation is measured in path
lengths or steps. He is one step from everyone and the alters are two
steps from each other.
Kyle operates/trades on 2 step paths where he is always in the
middle[Queen Between]. He might have 11 alters and therefore his
degree centrality score is 11 [or 1.0 if you normalize, his betweenness
centrality is also 1.0 normalized]. I bet his 11 alters do not know
each other, so he has many structural holes to play with... quite a
real life story for your theory Ron!
