Hello. socnetters.
I have data about many person's information (for research).
A record is composed of
scholarship data
- person's elementary school, period
- middle school, period
- high school, period
- undergraduate university, period
- graduate university, period
...
career data
- company 1, department, period
- company 2, department, period
...
familty data
- parent
- children
domicile (up to city/territory)
current address
demographic data (age, sex, ...)
I want to do network analysis on this data set. Basically, I may make some
adjacency matrices from scholarship data, career data using comembership
(reckoning with period overlap) and merge those matrices into one '(likely)
acquaintance network' But, that approach seems too coarse and interpreting
its meaning and its network analysis result using that matrix is also
cumbersome.
How can I do network analysis on that data set?
Any references, any advices are much appreciated.
Thanks.
Best Regards
Se Kwon, Kim
