Old alternative fuel is new again
Mount Vernon News, August 25, 2006
One of the newest players on the alternate fuel block is also one of the
oldest. Green gas refers to methane gas produced from the breakdown of
organic matter. Small- and medium-sized operations to recover methane
gas have been around for several decades. But now, with more and more
attention being paid to the production of alternative, renewable energy
sources, methane is being revisited and getting a new name in the process.
