Carbon credit program offered to Minnesota farmers.

"The National Farmers Union has expanded its carbon credit program to
Minnesota, letting farmers here earn money for no-till farming practices
and long-term grass plantings. Much like farmers trade bushels of corn,
they can trade metric tons of carbon through the program, said Dale
Enerson, director of the NFU carbon credit program, speaking at the
Minnesota Farmers Union annual convention Nov. 18."
