RE:         SEPTEMBER 28: HGSA RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM


The Hispanic Graduate/Professional Student Association (HGSA) is looking for
ALL graduate and professional students willing to present at its Annual HGSA
Research Symposium. Those interested will give a 20-minute PowerPoint
presentation and five minutes of questions and answers. You can present your
current research or your project proposal, and every discipline is welcome.
This is a great opportunity to practice your presentation skills in a
friendly environment (mostly your peers) and is even more useful for
international students that have to deal with language barriers. The event
will be held on next Friday September 28th in Room 282 at the Reitz Union. 

You do not need to be Hispanic to participate! ALL graduate students are
welcome as presenters and audience.

And there will be tons of food for everyone!
