RE: CALL FOR OCTOBER 11-13 INTERDISCIPLINARY COLLOQUIUM
The graduate students of the UF Department of Romance Languages and
Literatures are seeking submissions to its third Interdisciplinary
Colloquium on Hispanic/Latin American Literatures, Linguistics and Cultures.
The new deadline for abstracts is 16 September 2007.
This event will take place 11, 12 and 13 October 2007.
The main topic of the colloquium is "El Arte de (Con)vivir: The Art of
(Co)existence".
Readings in Spanish, English and Portuguese will be accepted.
The colloquium will feature three outstanding keynote speakers:
Dr. John M. Lipski
Linguistics
Pennsylvania State University
Dr. Tace Hedrick
Spanish American Literature
University of Florida
Dr. Luis Alvarez Castro
Spanish Literature and Culture
University of Florida
Highly qualified papers will be considered for publication in our online
journal "Sin Frontera."
