RE: UF ACADEMIC WRITTEN ENGLISH TEST REQUIREMENT AND SCHEDULE
All new Fall 2007 graduate students from non-US countries or Puerto Rico who
scored...
under 213 on the Computer TOEFL
or
under 80 on the Internet TOEFL
or
under 550 on the Paper TOEFL
or
under 320 on the verbal portion of the GRE
...must take the Fall 2007 UF Academic Written English screening test, which
will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Monday, 20 August 2007 in Room
E119 of the Computer Science and Engineering Building on campus.
The test is free and no preregistration is required.
Test-takers must bring some form of photographic identification (Gator One
card, driver's license or passport) and two Number Two pencils.
Test scores will be available in the afternoon of the same day.
Those who do not pass the test must take and pass EAP 5845 Academic Written
English as part of their Fall 2007 course schedule.
Please remind newly arriving students with below-minimum Computer TOEFL,
Internet TOEFL, Paper TOEFL or verbal GRE scores of this test and course
requirement.
