RE:      WOW! (WEEKS OF WELCOME) EVENTS


All graduate and professional students are invited and encouraged to
participate in several welcome activities alongside thousands of new and
returning Gators during UF's Weeks of Welcome (WOW!) program this semester.
The UF Dean of Students Office, in collaboration with several departments
and organizations, has planned a variety of social and educational events
throughout the next few weeks to welcome and familiarize you with the Gator
Nation. Events include cultural assemblies, information fairs, barbecues,
socials and more! ALL new and returning students are invited to participate
in a selection of over 200 events from 18 August 2007 through 30 September
2007. 

One of our WOW! events designed specifically for you is the Graduate and
Professional Student Welcome Reception held on Wednesday, 5 September 2007
at 6:00 p.m. in the Reitz Union Arredondo Room. This event is sponsored by
the Student Government Graduate and Professional Affairs Cabinet and is just
one example of the many events happening around campus.
